Clinical Validation
Home Vs Office*(1)
●Total 100 subjects. 50 subjects for office and 50 subjects for home
●Effective: Home-based biofeedback therapy improved bowel symptoms associated with constipation and in correcting dyssynergic defecation in >65% of subjects.
●Viability: The home device was well tolerated without adverse events.
●COST: Home-based biofeedback therapy was significantly lower than that for office-based biofeedback therapy.
Effective Treatment*(2)
●Randomized trial, investigated the efficacy of biofeedback in 77 subjects (69 women) with chronic constipation and dyssynergic defecation.
●Conclusion: Biofeedback is the preferred treatment for constipated subjects with dyssynergia.
Incontinence and DD*(3)
●Randomized pilot study of 13 subject – 7 had home devices,6 had office devices
●Responder rates of >70% in home study; Quality of life improved in both groups
●Biofeedback therapy (BT) with BioAnatoner was effective as office BT in improving bowel function and DD
●Bioanatoner could facilitate wider use of anorectal BT for both Home and Office use.
